REACT!
At GRC, we feel that before you can really make a difference that carries a withstanding impact, you must first educate yourself and others. GRC visits all types of organizations from public & private schools, universities, businesses, and clubs & associations, making presentations that guide your efforts to save energy and resources, while providing for those less fortunate and/or sustaining the environment. We are trained to speak to all levels of audiences from elementary school kids to business professionals. Please contact us if you would like GRC to come to your organization for a presentation.
South Florida Harvest
South Florida Harvest rescues excess food from all segments of the food industry - including restaurants, manufacturers, wholesalers, greenmarkets, hotels, corporate cafeterias, grocery stores and farms - and instead of letting all of that food fall into the usual waste stream, this project is in charge of delivering it to needy agencies. In addition to canned and dried food, South Florida Harvest collects perishable and prepared foods maintained in safe temperature zones and chilled or frozen before being donated. Food donation guidelines for fresh, refrigerated, frozen and prepared foods are used to certify food quality.
Business Services
Greensource Management
The materials collected from waste generators fall within one of these three categories: edible food, non-edible food, and recyclables (including anything that can be donated such as furniture, clothing, or office equipment). These are distributed appropriately within the community and to recycling centers. Use GRC to find out how you can make a difference by re-directing useful resources within your community. Whether it is a one time haul, or frequent contributions, nothing goes to waste at GRC. We can also advise businesses on how to save money each and every year by implementing an energy/resource conservation program.
Green Biz Development
A specialized custom recycling program is a service that GRC provides to satisfy the need which has not been accounted for by Miami-Dade County; one that is not only tailored to the specified needs of businesses, but also economically compelling to them. This service comprises of four consecutive stages:
1. Analysis of company’s waste management
2. Proposal of a tailored recycling program
3. Training of company’s personnel
4. Implementation of proposed plan.
Eventually, the most common solutions can be formatted and applied, and/or redistribution and recycling of resources would take place in the proper manner.
